[Analysis: Unprecedented Automated Money Laundering Pattern Found in Binance Stolen Funds] Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis posted on the X platform that its investigators observed an unprecedented money laundering pattern in the stolen Binance funds: attackers initiated thousands of transactions in a short period, seemingly using automated methods to obfuscate the flow of funds; the funds were not simply transferred downstream, but circulated repeatedly between multiple addresses, frequently flowing back to previously used addresses. Chainalysis added in its blog that many addresses exhibited the same pattern: receiving exactly 1 TRX initially, then receiving more funds before transferring them out. Furthermore, the attackers transferred $500 million in stablecoins to a redemption wallet, which converted $325 million in stablecoins into $285 million in ETH within nearly 20 minutes, with the remaining $175 million transferred to an intermediary wallet approximately 10 minutes later.
