Last month, Bitget was hacked, and this month Binance suffered the same fate, this time involving an amount exceeding Bybit's previous $1.5 billion. Undoubtedly, Binance has the capability to handle this hack, but the series of security incidents warrants serious reflection from the entire industry. Especially given the successive breaches of multiple exchanges, it's difficult to explain this solely by the technological shortcomings of a single exchange. With the rapid advancement of AI capabilities, will attack methods become more complex, and will security incidents become more frequent? What happens to users if losses exceed the platform's capacity? Not to mention the panic selling and liquidations caused by each attack, where the losses are ultimately borne by ordinary market participants. Today, Xu Mingxing of OKX and Dr. Han of Gate.com both mentioned promoting industry-wide collaboration in addressing security risks. This alliance is essential: exchanges, stablecoin issuers, and other parties should establish a joint security response mechanism, truly implementing collaborative early warning, fund freezing, and tracking. Protecting user assets is a shared responsibility of the entire industry. It is hoped that both first- and second-tier exchanges will take this seriously and develop concrete solutions. We cannot simply focus on the ability of the hacked platform to handle the aftermath after each incident. @heyibinance @star_okx @Han_Gate @justinsuntron @GracyBitget
