[Analysis: Bearish Sentiment Rises in BTC and ETH Options Markets, Increased Risk Aversion]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Bitcoin fell to $76,400, its lowest level since September 18, after being hit by a suspected $6.3 billion attack on Binance by North Korean hackers, before rebounding. Ethereum touched a low of $2,170 before recovering to around $2,220.
Market risk aversion intensified, with bearish sentiment rising in the BTC and ETH options markets. Put options dominated the top-traded options, and the 25 Delta skewness increased across multiple maturities, reflecting increased market demand for hedging against downside risk. Meanwhile, weakness in US tech stocks also exacerbated market pressure, with Nasdaq 100 futures falling 2.3%. (CoinDesk)
