USDT is coming back to Bitcoin. Startup Utexo is launching dollar-backed USDT on BTC Nov 28 via the RGB protocol (private transfers by default). Lightning support planned for early 2027 for sub-second speeds. Also enables direct BTC ↔ USDT swaps on the Bitcoin layer.
