[Industry Insider: Bitcoin Stolen in Binance Hack Likely Unrecoverable] According to Bloomberg, Bobby Lee, founder of digital asset hardware wallet company Ballet, stated that the Bitcoin stolen in the Binance hack is likely unrecoverable. In a Bloomberg TV interview, Lee said, "These Bitcoins are gone; they've fallen into the hands of hackers." He stated that only stablecoins have a realistic possibility of recovery, but freezing is different from recovery. Binance still needs to cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation and formally apply to claim the frozen assets. Lee also noted that Bitcoin did not experience significant selling pressure during Friday's Asian trading session, falling less than 1% to $78,269 as of 13:03 Hong Kong time. He believes the market is much more mature, and with the crypto market now worth trillions of dollars, losing $1 billion, $2 billion, or $5 billion is not the end of the world.
