[1/6] Why are all Turing-computable products insecure?
From centralized exchanges (Binance) to smart contract platforms (ETH), the phenomenon of "hacker ATMs" is frequent.
To understand the underlying logic, we cannot simply stop at patching code vulnerabilities; we must return to the first principles of computational theory, thermodynamics, and cryptography.
(Expand for more details/Thread)
[2/6] The "Finite Boundaries" and "Shortcuts" of Turing Computability
All systems built on the Turing machine model are essentially finite, discrete state transition systems.
The price of universality is "reducibility": Turing computability grants computation great universality, but it also means that its state space inevitably contains "shortcuts" that can be exhaustively enumerated, simulated, or subjected to dimensionality reduction attacks.
The fate of smart contracts and exchanges: As long as the logic is exhaustively enumerable and traceable, there will always be uncovered logical blind spots.
Conclusion: Within the finite logical boundaries of a Turing machine, absolute security is always a false proposition.
[3/6] Limitations of Cryptography: Large Numbers ≠ Infinity
Faced with the threats of AI and quantum computing, traditional cryptography (such as ECC elliptic curve cryptography) habitually relies on "extremely large private key spaces" to find a sense of security.
Large numbers are still finite: If "infinity" is merely considered an exponentially large number, it essentially still hasn't escaped the realm of finite computation.
High-dimensional breakthrough: True security cannot rely on closed finite sets of numbers. Only by moving beyond finite computation and towards dynamic open sets and higher-dimensional infinite abstract structures can a new dynamic balance be established between offense and defense.
⏳ [4/6] The Arrow of Physical Time: Why is Bitcoin the Real "Quantum Computer"?
If quantum computing is mistakenly considered a "faster and better Turing machine," it is still merely a suppression of computational power. But if we change our perspective:
The essence of quantum computing is not faster symbolic computation, but rather the irreversible physical generation process of nature. Bitcoin's Irreversibility: Satoshi Nakamoto didn't create a universal Turing machine. Instead, through Proof-of-Work (PoW), he forcibly anchored the ledger state to an irreversible entropy increase process embedded in physical time.
Past blocks cannot be altered because this violates the arrow of time in the universe.
[5/6] Specialized Generation and the Oracle Machine Era
This "quantum-level" irreversibility of Bitcoin is extremely focused and non-universal—it's only used to generate and anchor the decentralized currency (BTC) itself.
Following the design principles of the Satoshi Nakamoto consensus: A universal quantum computing product will soon usher us into the era of a true Oracle Machine.
That will be an era of truly trustworthy and secure machines based on the irreversibility of physical time.
Completely bidding farewell to the fragile software products currently confined to Turing machines.
[6/6] Summary
Absolute security is never achieved by endlessly rewriting code within a Turing machine, but by completely embedding computation into irreversible physical time.
The future security paradigm: Abandoning the illusion of Turing-computable shortcuts ➡️ Embracing physical time and oracular consensus.
