OneKey founder Yishi stated that the security incidents at Binance and Bybit demonstrate that even if wallet private keys are not compromised, attackers can still steal assets by infiltrating signature approval systems. BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF, IBIT, holds approximately 815,000 BTC, worth about $63 billion, currently primarily custodied by Coinbase. Although Anchorage Digital has been brought in as an additional custodian, there are currently no plans to transfer assets. Yishi pointed out that BlackRock has not purchased separate insurance for the Bitcoin held by IBIT. Coinbase's business crime insurance has a limit of $320 million, shared by multiple clients, and the custody agreement stipulates a liability cap of $100 million per cold storage address. In the event of a major theft and inability to recover assets or obtain full compensation, the loss may be borne by ETF holders. Currently, there is no evidence that IBIT has been targeted. https://(wublock123.com)/news/onekey-founder-blackrock-ibit-not-separately-insured-major-theft-losses-may-be-borne-by-etf-holders-71014
