ZachXBT: Funds Stolen from Binance and Bitget Flow into the Same Address, Possibly the Work of the Same North Korean Hacking Group Chain detective ZachXBT states that funds from the $6.3 billion theft from Binance and the $388 million theft from Bitget, after being transferred through the cross-chain protocol THORChain, ended up in the same address, suggesting that the two incidents were likely committed by the same group. THORChain was also the main channel for money laundering in the Bitget case. At the time, Bitget's CEO publicly requested that THORChain refuse to serve the hackers' addresses, but THORChain did not block it.
