Without the constraints of a major power's legal framework, how can you guarantee there's no internal spies within your company? Your company is only safe if you stand up to either China or the US. If the hackers are in North Korea, the Chinese government can help you. If the hackers are in Israel, the US government can help you recover the stolen goods. Unfortunately, these Chinese business owners don't stand with either side. They'll be getting hacked for a long time to come. Some things aren't even a technical issue.
