My first thought was that someone using Binance had their wallet stolen, which seemed serious. Then I saw it was Binance's hot wallet that was hacked. And then a lot of people were saying things like, "Such a big exchange got hacked, is the crypto world finished?" There have indeed been many security incidents recently, and attackers are becoming increasingly sophisticated. This is a reminder that we need to be more careful. I don't know if the crypto world will be finished, but there are definitely people more eager than me to see it end. Those who hope for the crypto world's demise probably haven't been in the crypto world for very long. Perhaps, every major event like this is followed by a major market upturn.
