The stolen assets were ETH and EVM-related on-chain data. Bitcoin was merely transferred from a wallet. Bitcoin doesn't have contracts, so it won't have problems. Ethereum's contract security issues are too serious. This incident has shaken the foundation of Ethereum. On-chain security will need to be reassessed in the future.
