The last major data release of the week has concluded. Core PCE, as expected, saw a slight increase, but not the explosive rise seen in CPI and PPI. The increase was within market expectations and not substantial. This data slightly eased expectations of a December Fed rate hike and reduced market tensions. However, rising oil prices and unexpectedly strong GDP data still raise concerns among investors that the Fed might become more aggressive. From my personal perspective, a December rate hike is highly probable. Therefore, unless the September data is exceptionally bad, its impact will be minimal. The current release isn't too bad. The real game will be played on the November data, and more importantly, the relationship between the US and Iran. At least for now, there's no sign of easing, even with Vance's visit to Iran. Next week is midterm election week. The US is unlikely to make any major moves right now; securing votes is the most important thing. Whether they'll actually begin to settle scores with Iran after the election, as Trump has said, is uncertain. But with oil prices so high, not only the US but even China is considering raising domestic refined oil prices. It's quite pathetic that Iran has rendered two world powers helpless. I bought two cryptocurrencies today, placing an order at $77,500. Actually, I'm already planning to buy Bitcoin. I wanted to test the core PCE at this level, and the data was good; bitcoin:native even rebounded a bit. I plan to increase my activity starting tomorrow. @Gate, for more market information.
