[Nasdaq Reportedly Advised Listed Companies to Oppose OKXICE Tokenization of Their Stock] Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform that, according to information obtained by her co-host Jacquelyn Melinek, Nasdaq representatives have been reminding its listed companies not to allow their stock to be tokenized and traded through OKXICE TSV, a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Melinek stated that an executive of a Nasdaq-listed company revealed to her that Nasdaq representatives proactively contacted the company and advised them to oppose tokenization trading on OKXICE, even offering to speak with them to explain the reasons. Currently, 38 companies have objected, 23 of which are listed on Nasdaq.
