[Phase Blockchain Mainnet Launches, Unlimit Founder Pledges $45 Million] According to Jinse Finance, on October 29th, Phase announced the launch of its blockchain mainnet and simultaneously launched the Phase Proxy service. This service sends web requests via shared smartphone network connections, using AI proxies, to circumvent website blocking and rate limiting of automated traffic from data centers. Unlimit founder Kirill Eves pledged $45 million, which Phase stated covers the first two years of development and the next two years of operation, with no external investors. Users can join the network through the Phase app, verify blocks, and share network connections to earn PHASE tokens; participation is adjusted based on device battery level and network conditions. Eves stated that current flagship smartphones can provide approximately 35 to 45 TOPS of AI computing power, capable of running smaller open-weight models locally. Phase plans to launch its AI computing power service and cross-model request routing service in November, and will develop its own models, expanding to desktops, servers, and GPUs; a portion of the service revenue will be used to purchase PHASE tokens on the open market to reward node operators.
