The IPO is over, and the number of participants was far lower than I expected, around 50,000 in total. The oversubscription was 37.5 times, meaning each participant received 409.75 Predicts (currently given as Keys). At the current pre-market price, that's 1.33 x 409.75 = $544.90 – a huge windfall!
Some people criticized me for posting this in a previous post because I was jealous of a $100 windfall. Now, with over $500, do you think it's worth posting? Those who missed out must be crying now
In the early Alpha phase (early to mid-2025), IPO oversubscription was generally 100x to 300x+, with popular projects reaching 300x-400x.
Recently (late 2025 to 2026), with the Alpha points threshold increasing and single-phase fundraising targets becoming larger, the oversubscription multiple has decreased significantly, mostly ranging from 18x to 40x.
This time, @predictdotfun suddenly lowered the entry barrier significantly. Anyone with $100,000 in their Binance account could earn 60 points, even without regular point accumulation. However, many retail investors missed out due to the dismal market conditions and didn't notice this benefit, simply blaming their bad luck.
I still have to commend this point reduction. With Alpha rewards decreasing, many retail investors are no longer actively trading to accumulate points. Maintaining a high point requirement would inevitably leave more tokens to professional point-farming teams (who are more motivated to consistently accumulate high points and compete for Alpha airdrops).
Binance also provided opportunities for users willing to maintain $100,000 in their Binance accounts. Distributing the benefits squeezed from the project to genuine users is the right decision.
It's estimated that the upcoming massive incentives will bring Alpha back into the spotlight.
