[EIP-8450 Update: Post-Validator Quantum Key Registration Now Authorized Only by BLS Key, No More Modifications to the Execution Layer] According to TechFlow, on October 29th, PR 12592 on GitHub's ethereum/EIPs shows that developer kevaundray submitted an updated draft of EIP-8450 (Ethereum Post-Validator Quantum Key Registration Scheme). This draft removes the withdrawal address authorization path, the EIP-7685 request type, the execution layer request contract, and the pending authorization queue. Dependencies have been reduced from EIP-7002, 7685, and 7916 to EIP-7916. The proposal no longer modifies the execution layer. The BLS signing key becomes the sole authorizer, and can register and change keys. The default key change interval is 256 epochs (minimum preset is 8, all presets are at least 1).
