Attackers are using a publicly available relayer to inject forged batch roots into Ethereum, subsequently confirming ETH and ERC20 withdrawals from the zkLink Nova L1 custody contract and transferring the funds to a receiving address designated by the attackers. Approximately $786,000 has already been stolen from the L1 ETH custody and ERC20 bridge. The attack is still ongoing.
