[Another US media outlet reveals details of a letter to Iran: Trump emphasizes nuclear issue in negotiations, expressing positive attitude] Odaily Planet Daily reports that a US official stated that US Vice President Vance has written to Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Rezaei, emphasizing that any negotiations aimed at avoiding a US military strike "need to discuss the nuclear issue." The letter focuses on the possibility of resuming US-Iran negotiations and represents the highest-level contact the US has made with Iran in months. Vance suggested that Trump send the letter to Rezaei. The US official stated, "President Trump is positive about the letter," but declined to disclose when it was sent. Trump told reporters on Wednesday that Vance's letter was to help Iran obtain needed medical supplies. The Wall Street Journal first reported on the letter. (Axios)
