The Fed held rates steady at 3.75% to 4.00% in a 10 to 2 vote.
Two policymakers pushed for an immediate 25 bps hike, and Chair Kevin Warsh made it clear price stability is still a work in progress with inflation sitting near 3.7%.
Markets are already pricing over 80% chance of another hike in December, while the 10-year Treasury yield climbs past 5.04%. Higher for longer is very much still on the table.(CNBC)
