GOLDMAN SACHS EXPECTS FED TO HIKE RATES IN DECEMBER
Goldman Sachs Asset Management expects the Federal Reserve to resume raising interest rates in December, following Wednesday's decision to hold rates at 3.75%–4.00%.
Kay Haigh, the firm's fixed-income chief investment officer, cited stronger-than-expected September inflation as evidence that price pressures remain elevated.
Haigh also warned that further increases in energy prices or stronger economic data could prompt additional monetary tightening in 2027.(彭博社)
