The amendment allows four preferred shares—STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD—to accrue dividends on a daily basis. Under the new rule, each calendar day will be the dividend record date, with dividends paid on the next business day. STRC's first record date and payment date are November 1st and November 2nd, respectively. STRF, STRK, and STRD's first record date and payment date are January 1st and January 4th of next year, respectively.
