[AI Simulation System Sim Fed Previews October Interest Rate Meeting: Five Out of Seven Votes Advocating Pause] According to Jinse Finance, on October 28th, ahead of the Federal Reserve's upcoming interest rate decision, an AI-powered simulation system called Sim Fed completed seven simulated votes: five choosing to maintain the current interest rate and two supporting a rate hike, largely consistent with market expectations of a pause in rate hikes this week. The system was jointly developed by Tara Sinclair, Chair of the Department of Economics at George Washington University, and Sophia Kazinnik, a research scientist at Stanford University's Digital Economy Lab. The two have dedicated approximately one and a half years to the project, with a preliminary research paper expected to be published by the end of 2025. The project is currently still in the refinement stage. Researchers clarified that the above votes are simulation results and not the actual Federal Reserve decision; the actual monetary policy decision is expected to be announced at 2:00 AM Beijing time on October 29th.
