[Birch Hill Raises $4 Million Seed Funding Round Led by Multicoin Capital] According to Decrypt, Birch Hill, a New York-based startup founded by former Goldman Sachs and BlackRock employees, announced the completion of a $4 million seed funding round led by Multicoin Capital, with participation from ParaFi Capital, Castle Island Ventures, and Nascent. This brings the company's total funding to $6.5 million. Birch Hill is the official Vault curator for the lending protocol Morpho and has applied for broker-dealer status from FINRA, which, once approved, will allow it to sell private lending products to accredited investors. The company plans to securitize and put multi-family residential, agricultural, and energy loans in the US onto the blockchain, within the framework of US regulations, and will meet with the SEC's Crypto Working Group in August.
