Japanese internet giant GMO Group's cloud desktop service suffered unauthorized access, affecting 26,739 servers. The hackers demanded a ransom in BTC and ETH, which was reduced from $50 million to $1 million. GMO Group CEO Masatoshi Kumagai refused to pay the ransom, and GMO Coin confirmed that customer accounts showed no abnormalities. The website domain that leaked the information was shut down on the morning of October 28th. (Source: Nada News)
