[Goldman Sachs: DRAM Prices May Continue to Rise Until H1 2028; HBM Market Revenue Expected to Grow Over 230% Next Year] According to a report by Jinse Finance on October 28th, Goldman Sachs' latest research report indicates that the DRAM and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) market outlook remains strong in 2027. TrendForce predicts that server demand growth and limited supply expansion will drive DRAM prices to continue rising until the first half of 2028. Even with weak consumer electronics demand, the market will remain tight, with Long-Term Agreement (LTA) coverage potentially reaching 60% to 70%. The report projects that the average selling price of HBM will increase by 122% year-on-year to $3.7 per Gb in 2027, driving global HBM market revenue to grow by over 230% year-on-year, exceeding $200 billion. Goldman Sachs reiterated its "Buy" rating on Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, with 12-month target prices of 500,000 won and 3.5 million won respectively, and maintained its target price of 380,000 won for Samsung Electronics preferred shares.
