This week is the highlight of the US earnings season. Let me give you a quick overview:
October 28: Hynix, Robinhood
October 29: Google, Microsoft
October 30: Amazon, Intel, SanDisk
Hynix and SanDisk still have demand for AI storage, but if the companies are cautious about future expectations, there could be significant volatility. For Robinhood, watch whether transaction volume and the crypto business continue to stabilize; personally, I think the hype surrounding Robinhood has decreased recently. Google and Microsoft are the core this week, Amazon's focus is on AWS and advertising, and Intel's performance is more about expectation management, with short-term trading resembling sentiment-driven trading.
Anyway, earnings season is the easiest time to chase highs and lows. I personally prefer to make a prediction on OKX first, then check the market data; it's more reliable than blindly going all in. If you'd like to join, you can participate in "Playing and Profiting from US Earnings Season," which can also help you accumulate XP.
Furthermore, I recently discovered that the OKX app actually has a lot of company financial data built-in. By accessing the trading page and then clicking into company finance, you can see profit and loss statements, gross profit margins, earnings per share, etc. When the AI is processing data, or when you're unsure what to look at before the market opens, simply opening any company's data is much more convenient than searching through a bunch of English reports on the fly.
Especially this week with Google, Microsoft, and Amazon all showing strong performance, reviewing key indicators beforehand at least prevents you from just blindly guessing based on prices.
