CZ posted that four data breaches were reported today, involving Coinbase's third-party provider Amplitude (customer funds were unaffected), the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, and South Korean securities firms Mirae Asset and Daishin Securities. CZ stated that the leaked exchange data was primarily used for phishing, SIM card hijacking, social engineering scams, and wrench attacks. In response, CZ offered several recommendations, including using separate email aliases and dedicated backup numbers for each platform, refusing to fill in unnecessary personal information, using strong, independent passwords and enforcing hardware security keys or access keys, completely disabling SMS 2FA, enabling a whitelist for withdrawal addresses, withdrawal time locks, and anti-phishing codes, regularly cleaning API keys and active sessions, applying to mobile operators for number transfer prevention locks, and assuming all unsolicited "customer service" contacts are scammers and never clicking on external links. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/cz-data-breach-4-users-alert-phishing-sim-hijacking-70855
