"Heard the average crypto user owns 3 bots? Grok Bot's latest update is worth noting"
It seems like more and more people in the crypto world are using Grok Bots.
Especially recently, Binance Agentic Wallet popularized the idea of automatically minting NFTs through agents, leading many to try having bots scan projects, monitor opportunities, and execute on-chain tasks. This has fueled the buzz surrounding Grok Bots.
Yesterday, Grok Bot received another update, which Elon Musk himself retweeted! Let's take a look at the highlights of the update
1️⃣ Pages: Direct Visual Page Generation
When it performs data analysis, trends, or explains concepts, it generates a shareable page instead of a long, dry reply.
Inspired by Cursor's canvas.
2️⃣ Vault: Built-in Encrypted Vault
Equivalent to a password manager inside the bot: login information, cards, and contact details are encrypted and stored after you enter them, and the bot won't see the plaintext when it fills them in on a webpage. 1Password has been further enhanced: You no longer need to share your entire vault with the bot; you can approve it within 1Password during login, and the password is only entered into the browser.
3️⃣ Integration with the Apple Ecosystem
The mobile app can connect to Home, Reminders, Location, Contacts, Alarms, and Calendar.
For example: find nearby restaurants by location, or have it turn off your HomeKit lights.
4️⃣ The bot can now create videos
You can use Imagine models to create videos directly in the chat window, without needing separate tools. When generating images/videos, a background process is deployed, preventing interruption of the main chat.
5️⃣ More on X
It can help manage Spaces and create Lists; there's even a pumpkin bot Easter egg for Halloween (liking it turns it into a pumpkin, and you can also choose a pumpkin image in the app).
6️⃣ A bunch of convenient little changes: Fewer approval pop-ups; email forwarding preserves formatting; .docx files can be converted to Google Docs; quoting is now possible with the > key in chat; Cmd+/ adjusts keyboard shortcuts; phone notifications are delayed when the user is at their computer.
