Since bitcoin:native fell below 80,000, I've reduced my shorting frequency.
The 79,000 long positions in bitcoin:native haven't been liquidated, and it's been fluctuating around 80,000. Most importantly, there's still a lot of money betting on tonight's CPI, expecting it to meet expectations and push the price up.
As shown in Figure 2, since the 27th, there's been a significant amount of spot buying, while contract open interest has decreased. Spot buying is greater than contract buying, clearly indicating that there's buying pressure. I've also advised against shorting recklessly; a poorly executed short position can easily lead to losses.
The overall market remains volatile with a slight downward bias. I haven't caught the wave, so I won't chase it. I'll wait for a suitable price to push the price down further!
