[Important News from Last Night and This Morning (October 27-28)] Alibaba, Tencent, and ByteDance are seeking long-term DRAM supply agreements with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, with some requiring agreements extending to 2035. Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and other major Chinese cloud service providers (CSPs) are in talks with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix regarding long-term DRAM supply agreements (LTAs). These agreements are typically for 3 to 5 years, but some customers have requested 10-year agreements extending to 2035. This procurement demand covers DDR for servers and low-power LPDDR. LPDDR is widely used in smartphones and can improve the energy efficiency of AI servers. Reports indicate that even with high prices, these manufacturers are prioritizing securing supply amidst tight memory supply. Previously, US tech giants had already secured memory supplies through LTAs. Data: Tokenized stock holders surpass 5.3 million, accounting for 83% of total RWA holders.
