Holy crap! DVLT's stock price plummeted 50% in a single day due to inability to withdraw Bitcoin! Last year, DVLT raised approximately $150 million worth of Bitcoin through equity financing, which was held on the Biconomy exchange. In June of this year, they applied for withdrawals, but four months later, the BTC still couldn't be withdrawn. On October 27th, the stock price plummeted 49.55%. The company's audit revealed that this batch of Bitcoin did not meet the criteria for recognition as the company's own digital assets and should be treated as equity subscription receivables. As a result, the company's financial reports for Q3 2025, the full year, and Q1 and Q2 2026 were all declared unreliable, with projected assets decreasing by $92.2 million by the end of 2025 and by $49 million by the end of June 2026. This financing came from Scilex, which itself is also facing financial difficulties. DVLT previously used Bitcoin as an important source of liquidity; now, not only can the coins not be withdrawn, but the recovery of the subscription funds is also in doubt, and the company's continued operation may even need to be reassessed. An AI company that claimed to have secured $150 million in Bitcoin funding ultimately suffered a backlash from its own balance sheet, with its stock price halved in a single day.
