The platform has disabled the affected markets and promised to refund both long and short positions based on the final prices of each result before the attack; any fraudulent gains already claimed will be deducted. Myriad claims to have recovered the funds, and the attackers did not withdraw any funds. Affected markets included whether Base will issue its token in 2026, the US midterm elections, crypto and commodity prices, and George Russell winning the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship. Myriad attributed the critical exposure to a vulnerability in an unnamed third-party library used by its backend services, stating that the exposure occurred several weeks ago.
