[Anthropic Announces Early Results of Claude Code for Accelerated Drug Development] According to Anthropic's official blog, in the past few months, its scientists have engaged in in-depth research collaborations with six new drug development institutions: BigHat Biosciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, Divergence Labs, Enveda, Generate Biomedicines, and The Column Group, and have also initiated their own drug discovery work. Among them, six scientists at Generate Biomedicines used the Claude Code to propose new designs for some of the gene instructions for CAR-T cell therapy. One of these designs is approximately 70% shorter than the standard version, and in laboratory tests, it can induce immune cells to produce approximately 10 times more receptors, resulting in higher efficiency in killing tumor cells.
