The gateway to Bitcoin is becoming the banking apps of JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, and PNC.
Brett Tejpaul, co-CEO of Coinbase's institutional business, stated that Coinbase's infrastructure is providing BTC access for customers of these three banks:
1. PNC: Private banking clients can already buy and sell BTC directly within the app;
2. JPMorgan Chase: Integrating bank cards and account links;
3. Citibank: Integrating stablecoin payments.
With the passage of the GENIUS Act, the trend of traditional industries entering the crypto space is clearly accelerating. Companies like COIN, which are "building the road," will increasingly resemble financial infrastructure, and the crypto industry's ability to weather economic cycles will become stronger.
If your bank app allowed you to buy Bitcoin directly, would you use it? Or would you stick to keeping it in your own wallet?
