[Anduril and Qualcomm Launch BlueChip Product Line, First US-Made Laptop Planned for Orders in 2027] Anduril and Qualcomm announced the launch of the BlueChip product line, aimed at rebuilding U.S. computer manufacturing capabilities. The first product is a laptop designed and assembled in the U.S., powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X-series platform. Anduril has already produced a functional prototype and plans to begin accepting orders in 2027. Over 90% of the component costs for the prototype are sourced from U.S. and allied suppliers. Circuit board assembly is planned to take place at Anduril's Arsenal-1 facility in Ohio. BlueChip targets government, defense, emergency medical services, and public safety sectors, and will be implemented in phases, with the long-term goal of establishing a fully localized supply chain.
