Last week, we saw signs of profit-taking from Bitcoin short-term holders, the strongest since July 2025.
I don't think this is a good sign.
If we were in a strong bull market with plenty of liquidity, the market could absorb that selling pressure and keep moving higher.
But I don't think that's the kind of market we're in right now.
We might continue to see some directionless, meaningless price action around the major events coming up this week and next.
But once those events are behind us, I think the chances of further downside are increasing.
That said, even if Bitcoin drops to the levels I've been watching, I'm not planning to rush into buying.
I still think the market needs a lot more time for accumulation.
So rather than treating every short-term drop as a buying opportunity, I'll wait and see how the accumulation process develops and make decisions with a longer-term view.
