@metricxyz's Active Pool DEX uses external oracles for pricing, specifically providing liquidity for tokenized US stocks, RWA, and mainstream cryptocurrencies that moves in tandem with real market prices. Regular AMMs rely on the pool itself to discover prices. Metric works the opposite: Price Providers provide bids, asks, and references, and liquidity is placed in bins near the reference. The range moves with the price, eliminating the need for manual readjustment. Tokenized stocks and similar assets can be traded on-chain at near-real prices. The mainnet is already public. Officially launched on October 15, 2026. Earns Metric points have appeared in the app, but the official rules for points haven't been released. What attracts me most is the team background: CTO Christos Gkolias @CGkol, formerly of Uniswap Labs. I've deposited some LPs to secure an early position while waiting for the points details to be announced.
