Attackers exploited a legacy server-side signature mechanism to transfer approximately 8.5 BTC, worth about $685,000, from V1 liquidity pools and accounts over approximately four hours. BTC deposited by V1 liquidity providers were affected, but traders' self-custodial wallets were unaffected. The platform has shut down V1 and is tracing the funds and contacting exchanges and on-chain analytics partners.
