Wednesday's SK Hynix earnings report + Friday morning's SanDisk earnings report + FOMC meeting – if these catalysts materialize and market concerns about the "cash burn of AI" are dispelled, a tech stock rebound could directly boost the cryptocurrency market.
However, Bitcoin's funding rates are still high, making short selling costly and limiting the upside potential. This is the core reason why a rapid short-term rally is difficult.
Currently, it's consolidating at low levels. For a true reversal, it needs another drop to around the previous low of 79,200, forming a complete "high-volume break below + high-volume recovery" signal before a real rebound can open up space.
Currently, there are major players placing long orders worth $63.56 million at 79,436. Today, short-term focus is on going long around 79,500, adding to positions at 78,500, with a stop-loss at 78,000. Only small positions are recommended for a potential rebound. Bitcoin is currently more like a bottoming process; don't rush to chase it, wait for confirmed signals.
