Looking beyond the cryptocurrency market and at overseas markets, many high-quality assets are falling, but BTC hasn't seen a significant drop. The market's movement in recent days has led to considerable disagreement among traders, largely based on their interpretations of news. Some traders analyze that a correction is only a matter of time, arguing that with overseas markets declining, BTC simply lacks an opportunity to catch up. Others analyze that BTC's resilience amidst widespread declines indicates strength, suggesting a surge once the external environment improves, and recommend opening long positions.
Both perspectives have merit and are self-consistent. The market has no shortage of logic; what it lacks are positions that can hold after the market has moved.
My trading approach is simple: I follow the trend, occasionally reviewing larger timeframes. I chase breakouts and occasionally short on breakdowns. I don't predict whether it should rise or fall. I simply wait for the market to choose its direction and then follow it.
