The two most vocal advocates of cryptocurrency trading have now turned bearish: one is bearish, and the other has liquidated their entire position! Ansem and Xiao Hei, two of the biggest trading gurus in the crypto world, are now pessimistic about the market outlook. On October 24th, Xiao Hei closed out his positions in ETH, ENA, UNI, and other assets, selling approximately $22 million to $26 million. This included about 6,400-8,000 ETH, 14 million ENA, 323,000 UNI, as well as ETHFI, AERO, PENDLE, and ZAMA. On October 26th, Ansem, who had previously been extremely bullish on Solana, also publicly turned bearish, directly naming BTC, ETH, and major US tech stocks. He predicted that after BTC and ETH broke below the $82,000 and $2,400 levels respectively, the decline could accelerate. AI stocks appear to have peaked, and the Nasdaq breakout may be a false breakout. The market is beginning to doubt whether the massive AI capital expenditures poured in by tech giants can actually translate into profits. Retail investors are probably caught off guard and trapped again.
