[Zcash Co-founder Proposes Transferring 8% of ZCG Block Subsidies to Network Sustainability Mechanism] According to DeepFlow TechFlow, on October 27th, Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe released a draft ZIP proposing to stop automatically allocating block subsidies to Zcash Community Grants (ZCG) and transfer the existing 8% subsidy share to the Network Sustainability Mechanism (NSM). The draft states that ZCG currently holds approximately 91,452.98 ZEC, worth approximately $125 million, and its existing funds are sufficient to continue supporting related activities, eliminating the need for continued block subsidies. If the proposal takes effect, from the designated activation height, the original 8% share will be credited to the NSM fund until the original funding flow expires; ZCG's existing assets and governance rules will remain unchanged.
