$955 million flowed back into the market, but BTC is still hovering around $80,000: How much of a rebound can this buying spree sustain?

Funds are flowing back in, but prices are still fluctuating. A snapshot this morning shows that BTC and ETH saw a combined net inflow of $955 million in the past 24 hours, rising 0.60% and 0.61% respectively. However, between 09:30 and 09:52, their prices fell back by 0.26% and 0.34% respectively. This means that while the rolling gains have widened, short-term buying has not yet driven prices higher, and the upside potential depends on subsequent buying support. A slightly bullish signal has emerged in the liquidation phase: In the past hour, short covering across the entire market reached $15.64 million, roughly double the amount of long positions. This forced short covering may fuel a rebound, but whether this buying momentum can continue depends on active buying. Increased short covering alone is insufficient to determine if the market has strengthened. The performance of individual funds is also worth comparing. ZEC rose 2.52% in the past 24 hours and 7.48% in the past 7 days, recording a net inflow of $123.8 million, outperforming BTC and ETH during the same period. However, its price also fell slightly in the morning, indicating that the influx of funds has not yet eliminated short-term selling pressure. How far this rebound can go depends first on whether BTC can hold above $80,000, and then on whether the inflow of funds can accompany the continued price increase. If funds continue to flow in but the price remains stagnant, the selling pressure above still needs to be digested. By setting up key level alerts through AiCoin and comparing fund flows with large order transactions, you can track whether buying pressure is starting to drive a price breakout.
