I waited two months for this license, and when it finally came, I was immediately hit with a price drop.
The second federal license was finally approved on Monday.
The stock of the first licensed company dropped 7% overnight.
Ripple's National Trust Bank received final approval from the OCC on Monday; Circle received its approval in July.
This license regulates the reserves and custody of RLUSD, which doesn't align with the buying interest in XRP tokens. The price only rose 1.36%, closing at $1.31.
Circle closed at $79.84, a drop of over 7% in one day.
Another peer company under federal regulation; the scarcity premium needs to be recalculated.
I bet CRCL would drop to $75 this week; if it recovers to $83, I'll admit my mistake.
