[Franklin Templeton's Two New Bitcoin DRIP ETFs (FBEQ and FIBT) Near Launch] According to a report by Jinse Finance on October 27th, Bitcoin News stated that ETF analyst Nate Geraci said Franklin Templeton's two new Bitcoin DRIP ETFs (FBEQ and FIBT) are nearing launch. The registration effective date listed in the SEC filing is October 27th, which may not necessarily be the first trading day. Both funds target an allocation of approximately 95% to US stocks and 5% to Bitcoin. Dividends from constituent stocks will be automatically reinvested in Bitcoin exposure at the opening of the market after the ex-dividend date, rather than being distributed to investors. FBEQ tracks a US large-cap stock index covering approximately 500 companies, with an annual expense ratio of 0.09%; FIBT tracks an index of 100 innovative theme companies, with an annual expense ratio of 0.19%. Both funds plan to list on Nasdaq. The Bitcoin exposure will be constructed through spot ETPs, futures, and a Cayman subsidiary, and will be rebalanced quarterly to reduce the overweighted Bitcoin allocation back to 4.5%.
