The main reason for today's rise was Trump's response on Sunday that there would be no attack on Iran for the time being. This reduced a source of uncertainty for the market, as Trump had previously stated his readiness to attack Iran before the weekend, only to announce five hours before the futures market opened that there would be no attack today. Furthermore, in my personal estimation, the probability of a large-scale US military action against Iran before the midterm elections is low; any action would likely be sometime after the midterms. Tomorrow should be the calm before the storm, if there is one. The Fed's interest rate meeting is at 2 AM on Thursday. The probability of no rate hike this time is very high, but Warsh's speech will still give the market a headache. At least based on current data, I can't see why Warsh could be dovish. Until the Iranian issue is resolved, US inflation won't come down; nothing else matters. This week also has earnings reports, especially from SK Hynix and Samsung. The South Korean stock market has already plummeted. I wonder how those who initially touted the semiconductor sector's impossibility of falling are doing now. I was chatting with friends today; the best time to exit is when there are many stock market gurus or widespread FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). Unfortunately, I was too busy with Token2049 and didn't have time to continuously short SK Hynix. The 10-year US Treasury yield was still at 4.98% intraday, not much different from 5% last Friday. I'm still doing dual-currency Bitcoin trading today. The option sell-put conversion to spot bottom-fishing feature is almost finished and still needs testing. Until then, I'll continue using dual-currency trading. Today I placed an order at bitcoin:native at $77,750, a 10% return. I'm not worried about this level. Follow @Gate for more market information.
