[Anthropic Warns of Computing Power Capacity Risk in S-1 Filing] According to Jinse Finance, on October 26th, Anthropic stated in its S-1 filing (US IPO registration document) that computing power (processing capacity provided by chips and other hardware) is a critical issue facing the company. The filing stated, "If we cannot acquire sufficient computing power, or fail to effectively allocate computing power to various workloads, we may not be able to train models that are competitive with those of our competitors, or we may not be able to adequately serve our customers." Anthropic indicated that it is paying fees to SpaceX and others for acquiring computing power capacity, but expects demand for computing power to continue to exceed supply in the short term.
