[Compound Community Proposal to Terminate Multisignature Cancellation Rights Due to the Withdrawal of Proposal 618] According to Jinse Finance, on October 26th, the Compound governance forum reported that a proposal submitted by community member Humpy to "terminate the community multisignature cancellation rights" has entered the on-chain pending processing state. The proposal proposes to invoke the Governor contract's `setProposalGuardian` to set the community multisignature (0xbbf3…012c, 5/9 signature threshold) proposal cancellation rights to expire on November 1st, 2026 at 00:00 UTC, while retaining its Pause Guardian rights to suspend the market. The proposal states that on October 22nd, five signers of this multisignature (Cylon, Gauntlet, Arr00, PGov, Zeroshadow) cancelled Proposal 618 before the voting began. The proposal intended to transfer $5 million of the EPCF fund to the community multisignature. Humpy claims that Proposal 618 meets all on-chain requirements, contains no malicious code, and does not pose a security threat. The proposal also points out that the Compound Foundation paid advisory fees to signatories Arr00 and Cylon, creating a potential conflict of interest; and that Proposal 538, passed in February of this year, extended the revocation authority for another four years. The above statements represent only the opinions of the proposal's authors.
