Another trading bot has gone wrong, this time it's Bloom on Solana!
This morning, several users reported their wallets being emptied. Monitoring reports indicate approximately 9,408 SOL (about $950,000) flowed to the same suspicious address, though this hasn't been independently verified.
The official clarification states that the 49 wallets involved belong to 9 users.
This afternoon, the official statement said they've identified the attack path, there was no private key leakage, the system has been taken offline, and they've promised full compensation.
Frankly, thankfully the amount is manageable this time. If it had been much larger, compensation probably wouldn't have been possible. Therefore, when using AI trading, if we entrust our wallets to it for management/importation, convenience and risk are inextricably linked.
My own habits:
I only keep small amounts of money I need for the day in the bot, and the majority in my own wallet. Also, never click on a bot with the same name from a group chat, and never use any bots recommended by others.
