According to MEXC's regional service restriction notice released on October 21, the exchange is gradually withdrawing from the Dutch market, requiring local users to transfer their assets by October 31, with the withdrawal planned to be completed by November 16. MEXC confirmed that it has not yet obtained authorization from the EU's MiCA (Mexico Authority for Cryptocurrency and Assets). Previously, it was added to the European Securities and Markets Authority's (ESMA) provisional list of non-compliant entities for providing crypto asset services in the Netherlands without a license. MEXC had previously announced on October 20 that it would cease providing services to users in Russia and Belarus. Its user agreement also lists 13 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China, as prohibited service areas.
